Duties include:
- Providing engineering support for new designs, additions, betterments, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems. Performing calculations, interpreting standards, preparing drawings and sketches, and writing specifications and design standards.
- Preparing project scope of work documents, cost estimates, budgets, schedules, economic evaluations, construction work packages, and quality assurance inspection plans. Monitoring job progress, performing quality control and assurance for fieldwork and construction activities, conduct tests, and start-up and turnover activities.
- Preparing, evaluating, awarding, and administering contracts for equipment, material, and services.
- Conducting energy economic analyses, trading, and related marketing activities.
Eligibility
- Graduation from a recognized four-year college or university with a degree in engineering; or
- Possession of a valid Engineer-in-Training Certificate recognized by the State of California Board of Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists.
