VERSION 2
LADWP also offers an EV rate discount on electricity costs for charging EVs. Your EV charger must be separately metered from your main meter, and the EV meter must be on a Time-of-Use (TOU) rate.
LADWP’s EV discount is $0.025 per kwh and applies to base period charges. There is a $10 per month minimum charge plus adjustment factors, so if your energy charges (which do not include adjustment factor charges) are less than $10, the energy charge will be billed the minimum $10. There is no service charge or ESA adjustment factor charge for the EV discount rate. Contact an EV program specialist for more info at (866) 484-0433 or [email protected].
