City of Los Angeles:

The Los Angeles Economic and Workforce Development Department (EWDD) offers resources to support thriving businesses, including job training and career opportunities in Los Angeles.

BusinessSource Centers are located throughout the city, providing a variety of services at no cost to Los Angeles business owners and resident entrepreneurs.

Regional Alliance Marketplace for Procurement (RAMP) is an online procurement portal to help market your business. Opportunities available from the City of LA to the greater Los Angeles region, including both governmental and private sector businesses. County of Los Angeles:

The Los Angeles County Department of Consumer and Business Affairs (DCBA) offers the Small Business Concierge a service that assists prospective business owners to successfully open small businesses in the unincorporated areas of the County.

Los Angeles County Department of Economic Opportunity has resources to help small businesses and create quality jobs for opportunity and mobility for all.

Los Angeles County Economic Development is available for business assistance, workforce development, financial empowerment and help with access to capital.


State & Federal

State
The State of California has programs, services and resources available to aid small businesses:

Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network: One of the state’s primary resource partners for small business development.

The California Office of the Small Business Advocate (CalOSBA): Is a network to help small businesses, startups, and entrepreneurs across all industries and demographics.

South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD): Office helps small business owners to comply with South Coast AQMD rules and regulations, permit conditions, and recordkeeping through a variety of services offered.

Federal
The Federal government has resources tailored to meet the needs of small business owners and has local district offices around the country.

The Small Business Administration (SBA): An independent agency of the federal government, created to aid, counsel, assist, and protect the interests of small business concerns.

Internal Revenue Service (IRS): The nation's tax collection agency administers the Internal Revenue Code enacted by Congress.
