Project Background

LADWP maintains a vast water system with approximately 7,340 miles of mainlines and trunk lines, which are critical to reliably deliver high-quality water to Los Angeles residents and businesses. About one-quarter of LADWP’s mainlines are over 80 years old, nearing the end of their useful life. LADWP has steadily increased the replacement of aging distribution pipes.

The existing water pipelines within the Beverly Boulevard Mainline Project (Beverly Blvd ML) are prioritized for replacement.

The Beverly Blvd ML will be completed in three phases to minimize impacts on the community.
