Become a Member of the Community Advisory Board 

LADWP is looking for up to 15 organizations to join the Community Advisory Board for Equity (CAB) for a minimum term of 12 months with an option to continue service for an additional 12 months, starting Spring 2026. Members will meet quarterly and as needed, working closely with LADWP leadership and staff to shape strategies that advance energy equitably across Los Angeles.

CAB Member Qualifications

The CAB should represent all LADWP service areas and reflect the diversity of its customers, including disadvantaged and low-income communities, small businesses, and residential customers. Members bring expertise in equity, environmental justice, energy systems, outreach, climate impacts, workforce development, and related issues.

  • Build strong partnerships with community organizations and advocates
  • Promote environmental justice and resilience for frontline communities

How It Works

  3. Notification & Onboarding

*Commitment: 15–20 hours per quarter, minimum 12 months. CAB members will receive bi-annual stipends for a total of $6,000 per year per organization.
