Project Description
The Toyopa Dr. (Potrero Canyon) Mainline Replacement Project is an important part of LADWP’s plan to improve water systems throughout the city.
The existing pipeline will be replaced with 6-inch and 8-inch diameter Earthquake Resistant Ductile Iron Pipe (ERDIP).
This project is essential to improving overall water reliability and flexibility
Construction Information
LADWP crews will install 8,700-feet of new pipe along Toyopa Drive, Corona Del Mar, Alma Real Drive, Alva Drive, La Cumbre Drive, Ramos Place, and Altata Drive.
Residents will be notified 48 hours in advance of any planned interruption in water service, although in an emergency you may experience unplanned water interruptions. Water interruptions, if any, will last no more than 4 hours.

Traffic and Parking
All streets will remain open and available for public access. No street closures are required.
To provide adequate space for construction crews and to ensure public safety, “Temporary Tow-Away, No Stopping” and “No Parking” signs will be posted around the work area.
Construction Schedule
Monday to Friday, 7 am – 5 pm
Saturday, 7 am – 5 pm (As needed)
