LA 100 Equity Strategies: LADWP Programs Powered by Equity
To ensure all Angelenos benefit from L.A.'s clean energy transition, LADWP announced in November 2024 a bold "Powered by Equity" initiative to build, operate and maintain a city-owned network of EV fast-charging hubs. These will be in publicly accessible locations in underserved communities to foster more widespread adoption of EVs by working families. In a related move to help residents purchase EVs and benefit from cleaner air quality, LADWP is boosting the Used EV Rebate to $4,000 for EZ-Save and Lifeline customers.
