Building Benchmarking
This webpage will guide you in obtaining and tracking your energy and water consumption, using the ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager®. This will help you comply with the City of Los Angeles’ Existing Building Energy and Water Efficiency Ordinance (EBEWE), which became effective January 1, 2017. It also serves to comply with State Legislation that requires statewide building energy use benchmarking.

Business Promotion Bill Credit
The BPBC Program offers eligible businesses, that are new to the LADWP service territory, monthly bill credits on electricity charges for the first three years of operation, offered on a first come, first served basis.

Commercial Lighting Incentive Program
Commercial Lighting Incentive Program (CLIP) provides incentives on the installation of newly purchased and installed energy-saving lighting and controls. With CLIP’s calculated savings approach, you can tailor your lighting efficiency upgrades to better meet your lighting needs, attain greater energy saving, and receive higher incentive payments!

Custom Performance Program

Feed-in Tariff Plus (FiT+) Pilot Program
The FiT+ Pilot Program expands upon the existing FiT program to further promote the use of locally generated solar energy and to ensure the deployment of energy storage projects that can dispatch solar energy in a manner that optimizes the deliverability of renewable energy to nearby load centers at hours that are most beneficial for the electric grid.

Food Service Program
LADWP offers incentives for new energy efficient cooking and cooking process equipment. Under this program your business may qualify for a financial incentive when you purchase equipment such as ovens, griddles, steam cookers, holding cabinets, glass and solid door refrigerators/freezers, and icemakers for your business.

Refrigerator Exchange Program
The LADWP's Refrigerator Exchange Program provides new energy-saving, ENERGY STAR® rated refrigerators in exchange for qualified older model refrigerators, FREE of charge. The Refrigerator Exchange Program offers a 15 or an 18 cubic foot model.

Through our REfrigerator Turn-In and REcycle (RETIRE) program, LADWP offers window air conditioner recycling for residential customers when they have their old, working refrigerator or freezer picked up and recycled by the Appliance Recycling Centers of America.
