Project Description

LADWP will install a new pipe along 91st Street, between Stanmoor Drive and Loyola Boulevard, and along Loyola Boulevard from 91st Street to approximate 300’ south of La Tijera Boulevard. The 3,400 linear feet of 6-inch diameter pipe will transport high-quality recycled water from Hyperion Water Treatment Facility to the Los Angeles International Airport Police facility.

Construction Information

Construction will begin in January 2021 and will be split into 3 phases to minimize impacts to the community:

  • Phase 1 (January – March 2021): construction will be between 91st Street between Stanmoor Drive and Rayford Drive. Full road closure is required to complete construction.
  • Phase 2 (March – April 2021): construction will be between Rayford Drive and Loyola Blvd. Full road closure is required to complete construction.
  • Phase 3 (May – June 2021): construction will shift to Loyola Blvd between 91st Street to approximately 300’ south of La Tijera Blvd.

Construction will require a full road closure of 91st Street during Phase 1 and 2. Access to driveways will be impacted. Crews will notify and coordinate with residents to assist with ingress and egress from driveways. Local access will be allowed only to residents located directly in front of construction activities. Residents will be notified before construction begins.

Please allow extra time to navigate through construction. Excavated areas will be securely covered by steel plates during non-construction times.
