For removal of an electric meter or electric service, please call the LADWP Customer Contact Center at
1-800-DIAL-DWP (1-800-342-5397).
LADWP Pole or Wire Removal
To request removal or relocation of a power pole or wire, please submit an encroachment application. Visit Encroachment Permits for more information.
Other LADWP Facilities Removal
Requests regarding removal of a transformer or other LADWP equipment on private property requires you to submit a request with the following plans and documents to LADWP Engineering:
- Removal request letter from the property owner
- Site plan identifying the facilities to be removed
- Service Planning Information Form
Your plans and documents must be submitted via email.
For projects north of Mulholland Drive email your request to [email protected].
For projects south of Mulholland Drive email your request to [email protected].
