Water Quality

IMPORTANT NOTICE

employee conducting pipe inspection

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power is inspecting water service lines in your community and throughout our metro service area to ensure the health, safety, and quality of your drinking water.
Inspections will run from March through July 2024 and will be carried out by Blaine Tech Services, a contractor working on behalf of LADWP. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) require LADWP to identify the pipe material of the customer-owned service line between the water meter and your home.

LADWP inventoried the utility-owned portion of service lines in 2020 and found no lead.
