Saving water and energy makes sense. It's simply a matter of managing your water and energy consumption by eliminating waste and using only what you need.
Although this is not a new idea, environmental concerns and several water droughts have made us aware of the importance of utilizing energy and water supplies more efficiently. And because we all use them, it is the responsibility of everyone not to waste these two vital commodities.
The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) shares the responsibility of managing water and energy resources with you . . . by looking for alternative energy sources that are economical and environmentally sensitive, by securing reliable sources of future supply, and by providing customers with energy and water efficiency tips that can be implemented easily at home.
By working together, and carefully managing our use of water and energy, we will have adequate supplies to fill future requirements. Remember, saving energy and water makes SENSE and implementing efficiency measures can save YOU DOLLARS.
