Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Rebate Program
The Non-Residential HVAC Rebate offer – Ends December 31, 2006
Customers are urged to take advantage of this limited time offer to receive up to $525 per ton on qualifying HVAC units.
To qualify for a rebate, the HVAC system must be purchased and installed by December 31, 2006. LADWP must receive an application with all the required documentation by February 15, 2007 from the LADWP customer of record. Applications received after that date will be ineligible for rebate consideration.
If you are a non-residential electric customer, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) continues to offer an energy efficiency program for heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems that can help you lower your electricity costs today. So let us put our energy to work for you with this exciting program.
This HVAC energy efficiency program offers you:
• Lower electricity costs for your building's HVAC system operation
• Increased HVAC operating efficiency
• Replace existing HVAC equipment with high efficiency air conditioners or heat pumps
• Only qualifying HVAC equipment purchased, installed and operational after July 1, 2006, will be considered for rebates
• Funds must be reserved prior to submitting an application. To ensure funding availability, you must reserve funds after determining what equipment you intend to install. You can reserve funds by submitting the HVAC Rebate Program Signup Form. Click on the link on the left side of the screen to sign up
• Funds are limited and will be disbursed on a first-come, first-served basis. Your reservation will be valid for 90 days. Rebate dollars allocated for projects not completed within 90 days will be returned to the program fund
• LADWP will process rebates once a completed
HVAC Rebate Program Application package is received. You may download the application from the link on the left side of the screen
• LADWP reserves the right to inspect the installation to verify the model number, size, and efficiency of the replacement equipment prior to releasing your rebate check
• Your final rebate amount will be calculated by LADWP based on the actual size and efficiency of the HVAC equipment installed
