Power Safety
The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week to respond to power outages and other electrical problems. The LADWP has personnel ready to respond to any weather-related or other electrical situation. If you are aware of an outage or see downed power lines, please call 1-800-DIAL DWP and crews will be dispatched to repair the problem as quickly and safely as possible. Please do not come into contact with any downed power wire or anything that might be in contact with the wire. Safety is the most important consideration. For more safety tips, click here.
