LADWP will not provide system or equipment parameters such as transformer impedance or X/R ratios for arc flash or short-circuit coordination studies. The only information provided by LADWP for arc flash and short-circuit coordination studies is the available fault current at the customer’s service point.
To request the available fault current for an arc flash or short-circuit coordination study please submit a request with the following plans and documents to LADWP Engineering:
- Arc flash information request letter
- Site plan identifying the transformer and service locations
- Single line diagram showing the service equipment information
Your plans and documents must be submitted via email.
For projects north of Mulholland Drive email your request to [email protected].
For projects south of Mulholland Drive email your request to [email protected].
